The American Logistics Association is a voluntary, nonprofit organization of manufacturers, manufacturer's representatives, brokers, distributors, publishers, and other companies that sell or provide products and services to the military resale systems and MWR/Services.

The ALA annual scholarships are awarded to deserving students who are family members of the Military or the Military Resale System.

This community consists of active, reserve and retired personnel of all the branches of the military, military exchange system and Defense Commissary Agency.
